About the Author
Clive Hallett has worked in the fashion industry since 1972 and has been a freelance design consultant since 1978. He is a senior lecturer in Fashion Management at Northumbria University.
Amanda Johnston teaches on several fashion design courses at London College of Fashion. She has worked as a freelance design consultant since 1982.

This book has a lot of good content. I love that it has covers natural fibers as well as man made fiber. As someone who enjoys making clothes, it's nice to have a resource to reference back and determine whether the fabric will work with the design.

Great content however I understand it is not possible to be ultra current as new products are introduced all the time. I am still searching for the latest developments in fabric.
