About the Author
James A. McCune has served as an international economist for several Fortune 500 companies during his career, and has been an avid student of the Bible for over 25 years beginning with his Master's thesis in Economics entitled The Economics of the Bible. In 1980 he wrote his first full-length book; America, the True Church, and End of the Age. Mr. McCune's writing style is lively, and at the same time scholarly, as numerous citations are quoted to emphasize and expound on important ideas and points of view throughout his writings. He is also the author of Is Jesus the Jews' Messiah?, and The Economics of the Kingdom of God.

Here's what this book's about . . .

I wrote this book out of frustration that the Mosaic law was difficult both to find, in the scriptures, and to understand. So I embarked on a mission to organize and explain, exhaustively, the civil statutes contained in the first five books of the Bible. Using the Princeton Theological Library as my main source of "authorities" on the law, I have quoted numerous authorities going back literally hundreds of years. I tried, also, to find the balance between being scholarly and being readable...only you can judge whether I suceeded!
At 428 pages, this book is as complete and as thorough an explanation of God's Law as you are likely to find. Believe me, if there was something else comparable out there I would have found it!
